Field Training

The Field Trainer Program was introduced to ensure that you feel supported as a new member of our team!

When you attend your first visit with a Nurse Next Door client (if you haven’t already) one of our office staff will go with you. They are there to walk you through the sign-in procedures, make sure you feel comfortable with the Caring Plan and provide insight into delivering a WOW Customer Experience to your client – as well as to answer any questions you might have.

You will also have at least one additional visit with a field trainer a few months into your employment – we call this a Certification Visit. These field trainers will be from our office team. They will shadow you on a visit with one of your regular clients to evaluate your performance and provide you with feedback. You will be Nurse Next Door Certified based on your professionalism, skills & abilities in providing care, documentation, and your ability to provide a WOW Customer Experience.
